Work day, cold and grey, I put to pen - I'll stay in again

My first twitter haiku

Christmas Eve a windy day so cold I say then in I stay

Concept

I started this blog to work with collecting examples of twittering a modern equivalent of Japanese Haiku. The concept of expressing an emotional moment in exactly 140 characters seems an appropriate use of our new world of instant communications where the short-form requirement of the twitter technology defines its own unit of expression.

I would like any examples of this form, any comments, and votes on what seems good.
